Recurring Payments & AutoPay for PointClickCare
Senior Living Facilities
AutoPay is the single biggest driver of on-time payments. Residents and families enroll once, and every monthly payment processes automatically at the correct amount, then posts back to PointClickCare.
Most Billing Tools Sit Beside PointClickCare.
TransactCare Connects Right Into It.
TransactCare is a third-party application available in PointClickCare Marketplace, connected to PointClickCare through a real-time sync. For recurring payments and AutoPay, that's the whole difference: statements, payments, and resident data stay continuously in step with your system of record, with no exports, no manual entry, and no data bridges to maintain.
Set It Once, Revisit It Rarely
Residents or guarantors enroll in AutoPay a single time through the secure portal. From then on, every monthly payment processes automatically on the due date, with far fewer missed payments.
Charges the Right Amount, Even When It Changes
AutoPay charges whatever the current statement says. When a care tier changes or a variable charge shifts, AutoPay automatically bills the updated amount on the next cycle. Families rarely touch it again, only to update an expired card.
A Statement Every Month, Even on AutoPay
Enrolling in AutoPay doesn't mean flying blind. Residents and families still receive an itemized statement each cycle before the charge, so they always know exactly what they're paying for.
Why AutoPay Moves the Needle on Collections
When payment is automatic, it breaks the late-payment cycle.
On-Time Payments
Automatic payment is why facilities reach on-time rates they couldn't hit with mailed checks.
No More Chasing
No unpaid balances to follow up on means no awkward calls from your staff.
Less Family Burden
For families managing care from afar, AutoPay quietly removes a recurring stressor.

Recurring Payments & AutoPay Questions
Your itemized statement shows the exact amount and the scheduled date of each AutoPay charge, and is sent in advance of that charge. AutoPay amounts can change when a care tier or a variable charge changes, so the statement is where the current amount is confirmed. Residents and payors can cancel AutoPay at any time in the payor portal. You receive a copy of your AutoPay authorization terms when you enroll. You can stop a scheduled AutoPay payment any time up to three business days before it is scheduled, by cancelling in the portal or by contacting support@transactcare.com.

Payment timing: payments are processed and reflected in TransactCare immediately. Payments submitted before the 6:00 PM ET cutoff are batched and sent to PointClickCare at 9:00 PM ET, where the day's batch waits in your cash imports queue for your team to review, reconcile, and post. Funding timing depends on the payment method: card and debit fund the next banking day, and ACH and eCheck typically fund in two to three business days. Timing may vary for new merchants or for transactions subject to standard risk review. Weekend and bank-holiday submissions fund on the next banking day.
